Magical childrens stories by Simon Arthy. Anyone who has experienced Nepal will fall in love with these childrens books, written and illustrated by Simon Arthy (clearly written and illustrated for big kids too). These magical stories are about two explorers Jack and Betty, who with the help of their ancient magic map go on wild adventures for a day. I have two of his books, both books are enhanced with beautiful and vivid illustrations. The stories make me smile as I remember glimmers of my own trip to Nepal. My favourite book is ‘Jack and Betty and the Yak and Yeti’. I identify with the opening illustrations showing vivid and chaotic scenes of Kathmandu, as Jack and Betty embark on an adventure to the Top of the World, Mount Everest. 

A great addition to any bookshelf, especially if you’ve been to Nepal!
